Now they're calling him "Orange Slush"

I just got back from an electric walk-off Tiger victory over the Yankees.  I have really been lucking out with these games I've been going to.  First the dramatic Curtis Granderson home run against the Reds in extra innings, and now this!  I've decided that my 1984 Eastern Division Champions shirt is now my lucky shirt, because they win everytime I wear it.  The best part of tonight's game was my seat, by far the best seat in the house.  Hands down.  I was at the end of the aisle, 3 feet from being inside the dugout, and a tiny reach from being on the field.  If I leaned forward I could touch the dirt on the field.  Unbelievable.  If I could have that seat every game, I'd be on cloud nine.

Chew_newThe best part was watching Big Nate Robertson during "gum time."  I didn't think he'd do it again after last night's loss, but sure enough there he was!  I turn my head and he's going crazy, and nobody else in the dugout is paying any attention!  I can already see the Big League Chew commercials.  I'm buying stock in that company.  Nate is like a little kid but with a wicked slider and crazy facial hair.

Did the announcers say anything about Verlander's finger?  After every inning, you could tell that blister was really bothering him.  I'm just wondering if that was the reason why he struggled tonight.

I really really wish I had my camera tonight, but my mom took it to Connecticut.  I could have gotten some incredible shots!  I felt like a VIP, I was definitely in the action.  The people next to me thought I actually worked for the team, which was pretty cool.  I feel like I'm getting closer to my dream of working for the Tigers.  I just need to keep the momentum going.

Wow, what a game.  Watch out, this team is legit.
